Why can't I upload my own document here?

To keep the public tool free and abuse-proof. Reading a real document uses infrastructure that has to be tied to an authenticated account. Create a free Credbase profile and you can upload straight in.

What kinds of documents does the AI reader support?

Insurance certificates, ISO and cyber security certificates, PAT testing reports, DBS letters, right-to-work confirmations, waste carrier licences and any typical UK compliance certificate. It captures type, issuer, subject, expiry and key numbers.

Do you train models on my documents?

No. Documents you upload to Credbase are used to serve you, not to train third-party models. Full detail is in our Trust Centre.

How accurate is the extraction?

For standard UK compliance certificates the AI is highly accurate on type, issuer and expiry. Any low-confidence field is flagged for you to confirm. You are always in the loop.
